E. coli Google Logo

For researcher Edward Johnson of Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, whose entrant is an Escherichia coli rendition of Google’s logo, participating in the contest was just coming full circle. “We use Google all the time to find out scientific things,” Johnson said. “And we use bacteria all the time.”
